About Us
The Varsity Club is located on the corner of 124th and Beloit Road in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Many great neighborhood taverns have been housed on this corner. Prior to the Varsity Club, many locals will remember Susie Q's owned by Hans Lee. Before that there was Crash's Corner owned by Brad Wagner. Other names you may remember are Kremer's, Bob & Lee's Tap and Butts & Moose.
Mike and Karlyn Teipner opened the Varsity Club in May 2004 as a completely renovated sports bar and grill. Their dream was to own a bar where fans could come and sit back, relax, enjoy good food, a cold beverage and catch a ball game on TV.
The casual, relaxed atmosphere at the Varsity Club is a great place to meet old and new friends. The black and white pictures and sports memorabilia that fill the walls of the Varsity Club are great conversations pieces. The friendly staff is dedicated to making you feel at home. The best pizza in town, great hamburgers and many other delicious food and beverages will keep you coming back for more.
